A special thanks to all the hotels who sent representatives to compete in H-Games VII! Over 32 hotels were included in an afternoon of fun, camaraderie, skills and knowledge to celebrate the importance of teamwork in one of the best competitions yet!
Afternoon Highlights of HGames VII included:
Area GM's broke the ice by competing in the 1st battery-powered toilet racer obstacle course by A Moon Jump 4 U. Relay times from 2-person teams were combined to score the highest points, including a toilet paper basket toss. Team White Lodging was really On the GO taking 1st place!
Chicago White Sox' Southpaw led the team captain procession during the opening ceremonies and showed true Olympic spirit to rally the crowd!
Brian Caffarelli from Chicago 2016 honored our hotel employees for their support during the recent IOC visit which was a success. Now we await the IOC decision on October 2, 2009! Go Team Chicago!
Killerspin's Pros battled our hotel stars at table tennis, while the final match had all on edge watching Hard Rock Hotel VS. Hard Rock Hotel compete for the top spot!l
MSI Fitness Experts and state-of-the-art STARTRAC equipment--as seen on "The Biggest Loser" and in some of our IHLA hotels—helped players warm up for the games the right way!
Sealy Ultimate Bed Competition.
The housekeeping duo from The James Hotel made the "ultimate bed" according to Hotel Indigo's guidelines and judges. They can now rest well on their new Sealy queen beds!
Knowlege Bowl
11 Knowledge Teams battled it out over tricky trivia questions on Chicago, Illinois, President Obama and the 2016 Olympic bid in a Family-Feud style format.
